These duties include the development of a District Maintenance & Construction work plan, including the Annual Work Plan and routine maintenance & construction work elements, which is developed and approved to preserve the transportation infrastructure within District 1. The approved work program and work plan design the maintenance & construction budgets. The maintenance & construction operation is monitored, and the District Engineer is notified of significant deviations from the budgets, Annual Work Program, or District Work Plan.
