Parks & Recreation Part - time Custodian Posting Expires: September 11, 2024 Salary: $15.00/hourly General Description and Classification Standards Maintains the overall cleanliness of the facility and the grounds surrounding the facility. Duties may include, but are not limited to: cleaning facility using janitorial equipment including mops, brooms, buffing machines, vacuums, and various other kinds of equipment. Cleans the facility; cleans, sweeps, mops and stocks the restrooms daily; strips, waxes, and buffs tile floors, as needed; cleans vents on a monthly basis and/or as needed; may dust and polish furniture, window ledges, light fixtures, etc. Prepares rooms for meetings; communicates with building supervisor to ensure that clean and prepared for scheduled meetings, as needed. Monitors the grounds of the facility; inspects areas surrounding the facility, not limited to the parking lot throughout the day. Cleans the grounds of the facility; picks up debris / trash in the parking lot; removes debris / trash from walk way leading to facility. Identify and report building maintenance needs.
