About the Role: Under supervision, performs work related to patient care in a variety of duties. Work is performed in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures. Handles telephone contact and record keeping duties. Responsibilities include performing at a proficient level and lending support of patient care team as directed. Utilizes computer to perform a wide variety of tasks. Location: 2303 Dodge Ave, Waukegan, IL Hours: (20 hours a week) Monday (9:00 am - 4:30 pm), Tuesday (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) , Wednesday (3:00 pm - 7:00 pm), Friday (8:30 am - 1:30 pm) Alternate Saturday (8:00 am - 1:00 pm) FLSA STATUS: Hourly Skills and Experience Answers incoming phone calls. Makes appointment for clients. Updates demographics and verifies patient eligibility. Answers phone calls from various Clinical Operations clinics. Assists with maintaining patient records. Patient outreach for follow-up care as directed. Participates in Quality Improvement activities on an on-going basis. Performs verbal language interpretation and written language translation services as needed. Education, Qualifications, and Certification: Requires High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of one-year office experience preferred. Must be customer service focused with excellent phone etiquette skills. Spanish Speaking preferred.
