- Complete a variety of semi-skilled work in the alteration, maintenance, and repair of individualized supported living (ISL) community homes in Sikeston and Poplar Bluff.
- May include performance of a variety of semi-skilled routine maintenance that can include the following: appliance repair, light electrical, plumbing, drywall repairs, painting, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems or on building interiors, such as replacing light bulbs, window coverings, installation of light fixtures, or other minimal repairs as needed and approved by the homeowner.
- Repair, move, and assemble furniture. Haul away and dispose of items no longer needed.
- May operate and maintain lawn mowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and similar mechanical equipment.
- May assist in grounds maintenance of community homes through horticultural care, miscellaneous debris and trash disposal, snow removal and salt application.
- Execute assignments in the form of work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer after-hours calls for emergency purposes due to weather or unanticipated maintenance needs.
- Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Job requires heavy physical exertion and effort.
- Annual hours restricted to 1040 hours worked.
- Must maintain a current driver's license and pass all necessary background screenings.
- Must complete an initial orientation training on relevant policies and procedures and also ongoing annual trainings as assigned.
