    Overview

    We're hiring a Climate Smart Future Ready Program Coordinator to join Larimer County’s Office of Sustainability and Climate!
    We need someone passionate about sustainability and can approach it from a balanced perspective, considering the environmental, social, and economic impacts. You’ll need to be a clear communicator who can engage with various audiences, stay organized, and use data to drive decisions. We believe in building trust through transparency, so we’re looking for someone who can deliver dependable, professional service.     The typical schedule is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Weekend or evening events are possible
    This is a grant-funded, limited-term position based on available funding.

    Responsibilities

    Specifically, this position:
    • Coordinates and facilitates Climate Smart Future Ready multi-partner action teams.
    • Provides technical assistance, data collection, and reporting for greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
    • Establishes community engagement, outreach, and communication initiatives.
    • Collaborates with the Towns of Estes Park and Johnstown to develop greenhouse gas inventories and plans aligned with County goals.

    • Maintain reliable and transparent work practices, fostering trust and delivering excellent customer service.


    Qualifications

    All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
    • Three (3) years experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties.
    • Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.
