The Job
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for Epic RN Analyst I who is a licensed Registered Nurse to join the Epic team. This position is the trainee classification in the Epic RN series. Under training conditions, the Epic RN Analyst I will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to qualify for promotion to Epic RN Analyst II. This position will learn how to perform the moderately complex systems analysis and applications programming, and learn how to serve as a resource for implementing technical solutions and clinical information to meet customer business needs and function in a support role on one of our major new development project teams. ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a physical, background investigation, and verification of employment history, certifications, and education.
Training & Travel: Applicants must be able to sit in a training room for up to eight (8) hours a day. Applicant may need to travel to Verona, Wisconsin by airplane for training on an as needed basis. Travel expenses will be paid for by San Bernardino County.
License: A valid California Class C Real ID/driver license, Passport or Military ID and proof of automobile liability insurance is required at time of hire. Must possess and maintain a Registered Nurse license with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
On-Call: Incumbents may be placed "On-Call" for nights,weekends and holidays depending on the certified module.
Epic Certification: Incumbent must obtain Epic certification in every assigned module within 90 days of hire. The Clinical Informatics Department in collaboration with the Epic implementation executive team will reserve its right to extend beyond 90 days if the core training class schedule falls outside the 90-day hiring period. If certification is not obtained after 90 days of hire or the dedicated extended time allowance, the incumbent’s employment will be terminated.
Trainee Status: Incumbents in this role are considered trainees and must both successfully pass their probationary period with satisfactory Work performance Evaluation and obtain Epic Certification in their assigned module.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet both of the following:
License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
-AND-
Experience: Two (2) years of Registered Nurse experience working in an acute care hospital, a large healthcare organization, or in an Ambulatory Care setting.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse who is certified in one (1) or more Epic modules.
