Why you’ll love this position:The Program Coordinator works to implement Missouri's new Adult-Use Cannabis Program in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Program Coordinator leads the Section for Patient and Application Services, Section Development Unit, which is located within the recently created Division of Cannabis Regulation. The Program Coordinator supervises a specialized team responsible for coordinating section planning with supervisors to create consistencies between units that align within Division standards, and staff professional development.
- Manage the Section Development Unit within the Section for Patient and Application Services.
- Collaborates with the Office of Operational Support to coordinate cross-division and cross-department projects on behalf of PAAS.
- Collaborates with other unit supervisors to achieve section goals, deploy new initiatives and continually look for process improvements that create consistency.
- Responsible for delivering outcomes of ongoing initiatives and projects assigned to the unit.
- Coordinates Section planning efforts.
- Supervise staff.
Minimum Qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4-7 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
- Working knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective employee supervision, training and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and supervise staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of initiative and problem solving skills in areas of responsibility.
- Able to adapt to constant program development, change and improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with the public and other partners.
- Technical proficiency in standard software programs such as Microsoft office suite
