General Description and Classification Standards

This role plays a crucial role in managing organizational change to drive a culture of excellence and innovation by focusing on organizational values, leadership development, employee empowerment, and continuous improvement.
As part of the leadership team, this position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer for the Department of Aviation (DoA) and collaborate with the various functional areas and levels of leadership at the DoA.
Success Metrics:
1. Lead and implement change initiatives within specified timelines and budgets.
2. Minimize resistance to change and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
3. Measure employee engagement and satisfaction levels during times of change.
4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to change management activities.
Supervision Received
Direction received from Airport Chief Strategy Officer and is very general and focuses more on long-term and short-term objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in strategy management, business, organizational psychology, project management, human resources, training, or related field.
5 years of experience in change management or a similar role.
Preferred Education & Experience
Master’s degree in strategy management, business, organizational psychology, project management, human resources, training, or related field.
10 years of experience in change management or a similar role.
Licensures and Certifications
Position would be expected to have licensure or professional certifications appropriate to the position. Project Management, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or Training Certification preferred.
