Key Responsibilities (Dependent upon the position/discipline for which they may be selected.) Performs complex materials field sampling and laboratory testing conforming to stringent test procedures established by ASTM, CALTRANS, or AASHTO. Materials tested include Portland Cement Concrete, Hot Mix Asphalt, aggregate, soil, and other construction materials. Prepares detailed materials test reports and engineering reports for construction projects. Performs lab facility testing for equipment maintenance, replacement, calibrations, and upgrading.
