Duties and Responsibilities:

The Program Coordinator reports to the program Clinical Supervisor and will provide the following duties: Program Goals, Objectives, and Productivity - Will coordinate client assignment across programs, maximizing productivity to reach monthly targets per program, participates in weekly monitoring in partnership with all agency program coordinators and fiscal department adjusting case assignment and maintaining accurate case count records and master schedule. Client Services - oversees the review, interview and assessment, assignment, and referral of clients within the organization and directly assigns clients to clinicians and monitors their effective and timely responses to requests for services. Training and Mentoring - provides initial and ongoing administrative training, and support and assigns a clinical mentor to incoming clinicians. Ensures that all pre-qualifying EBP’s are completed, record keeping, documentation and report writing are overseen. Reviews policies and procedures. Onsite Liaison - Works to actively reduce silos across programs through centralization of case assignments, maintaining accurate counselor schedules, and reporting to supervisor concerns regarding counselor performance. Participates in scheduled staff and multidisciplinary team meetings, presenting relevant information on all case/treatment plans, changes, and onsite partner referrals. Data Collection and Documentation - maintains client files; documents all client contact; documents all onsite and offsite referrals, and outcomes; maintains all consents; gathers and enters statistical data resulting from advocate contacts into software system; audits software system on a monthly basis to ensure data align with ATFs; Other Duties: Participate in agency quarterly clinical/advocate volunteer training. Participates in and provides cross-training to partner agencies including multidisciplinary team members as well as staff and volunteers; attends monthly meetings as assigned with other agencies within the county to better serve the client; attends trainings as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be a highly organized individual able to multi-task, track and document assignment of clients. Computer competency, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with a database management system is preferred.

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

Must demonstrate the ability to use communication skills that successfully convey and obtain accurate and complete information in a respectful and caring manner. Have a basic knowledge of body language and non-verbal communication. Understand and demonstrate active listening skills. Past teaching experience will be helpful in assisting clients improve and develop necessary skills to promote well-being. Must be a critical thinker, reasoning, organizing and analyzing information so that problems are accurately understood and solutions are congruent with client’s capacities and outcome orientated. Capacity to negotiate and collaboration to insure the client’s successful receipt of services. Demonstrate the skill of advocating for the needs and rights of people. Must show a passion and sensitivity for trauma work. Demonstrated experience to maintain cooperative working relationships with others; be team oriented; coordinate/collaborate with professionals from multiple agencies whilst maintaining appropriate boundaries and client confidentiality Must show a passion and sensitivity for trauma work. Must demonstrate an acceptance and respect for cultural diversity in all its forms, including ethnicity, sexual orientation, abilities, and religious backgrounds and an ability to work collaboratively in an ethnically linguistically, and culturally diverse environment.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

Full Pay range: $21.63 - $35.72

The anticipated hiring range: $21.63 - $35.72

Time Base: Full-Time
