Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director and Associate/Assistant Director, the Administrative Support Assistant II will provide overall office support to meet the operational needs of the Marilyn Magaram Center (MMC). Organizes and coordinates administrative duties and works to improve the Center’s procedures and day-to-day operations. Serve as the lead coordinator for operational duties including: staff and client scheduling, equipment purchasing/maintenance, shipment/inventory, creation/maintenance of office policies, onboarding/training employees, overseeing employee productivity/deadlines, and coordination of celebrations and events. This person will help the MMC achieve organizational efficiency by nurturing a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

The equivalent of three years of full-time experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant, with general office clerical work that has provided the candidate with the knowledge of abilities listed. College education/vocational school training in business or related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience.

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability and specialized skills to: organize, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks; learn, identify, and independently interpret and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures; investigate, analyze, and resolve routine clerical problems; work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; independently prepare and draft clear and concise final form of memoranda and correspondences; keep the moderately complex records and files; maintain confidentiality of Center information, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, faculty, and other; and operate standard office machines, computers, and software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm

Full Pay range: $21.24- $34.81

The anticipated hiring range: $22- $29

Time Base: Full-Time
