Position Description The Department of Accounting, Finance, Economics & Law at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) invites applications for a Tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Academic Year) with the appointment starting in Fall 2024.

The Position Teaching duties may consist of day or evening classes. Teaching responsibilities may include both undergraduate and graduate courses, and likely include online courses. Additional responsibilities include research and service consistent with the mission of the University and the College of Business Administration and Public Policy. Published research in support of the mission is expected and required for tenure and promotion.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Applicants must have experience in working with students from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
- Applicants are required to have a completed Ph.D. in finance from an AACSB accredited university or be in the final stages of completing their dissertation from an AACSB accredited university at the time of employment with completion scheduled by the start of Fall 2024 semester.
- The candidate will need to be academically qualified based on the current AACSB standards, by time of employment.
- Evidence of university-level teaching experience
- Demonstrated record of publication in the field

Additional Information The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) classification salary range is $5,405 to $11,994 per month (12 monthly payments per academic year); The anticipated hiring salary is $9,990 to $10,200. This position will be commensurate with experience and current CSUDH faculty salaries in the academic department/discipline. Faculty salaries are subject to budgetary authorization and any California State University System faculty contract increases. Summer research grants, moving expenses, start-up funds, and a reduced teaching load may be available.
