Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. The Nevada Department of Wildlife is looking for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to support the Department and the Director's Office. The incumbent reports to the Administrative Services Officer II and assists with managing $24 million in federal funds the department receives each year. This includes the completion of grant applications and federal draws as well as working directly with grant program managers. The position will manage and analyze federally funded programs with complex cost accounting structures. Other duties include providing reports and information to management as well as working closely with federal liaisons. The position is responsible for complex operational, statistical, budgeting, and fiscal analysis of federal funding and match. This position supervises an Accounting Assistant 3 and two Management Analyst 2 positions that are in charge of the department's 200+ contracts and subgrants. The position is being recruited at both the Management Analyst 2 and 3 level, and could be filled at either level.
