The Position Bargaining Unit: Local 856 - Health Services Unit The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is seeking to fill Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I positions located in the Diagnostic Imaging Unit at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, CA. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I is responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures for outpatient, inpatient and emergency/trauma patients. Other responsibilities include positioning and transferring patients and providing immobilization devices; performing portable x-rays and portable C-Arms; administering opaque media to patients under direction of physician; and practicing sterile techniques and preventing cross-contamination.
