Vacancy Title: Custodial Worker II Annual Salary: $34,296 ($16.49/hour) Job Location: This position is located in St. Louis City - 3815 Magnolia Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110 Why you'll love this position: The custodial team at Missouri School for the Blind supports our school by providing a clean, safe learning and living environment for our students, families. staff and visitors. What you'll do: Performs manual tasks in mopping, scrubbing, dusting, polishing and similar custodial tasks. Strips, cleans, waxes, and polishes floors. Assists in care of grounds when required. Moves equipment, furniture and supplies when necessary. Operates various powered equipment (i.e. mechanical scrubbers, polishers, washers) in performance of assigned duties. Cleans classrooms, offices, restrooms and residential areas. Cleans contaminated areas using protective clothing, devices and agents as designated. All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED certificate. Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in custodial work. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications One year experience in custodial work preferred.
