As assigned to Public Works/Facilities: Performs varied professional engineering duties to assist the Facilities Manager with planning, organizing, and directing the operations of the Facilities Maintenance and Grounds Division in building maintenance, repair and construction activities including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, carpentry, concrete, masonry, metals, painting, cement finishing, locksmithing, roofing, glazing, insulating, tile setting, carpet laying, fire suppression, automation and electronic controls, electrical power generation and custodial duties. Prepares work schedules, assigns work orders, and supervises assigned personnel activities. Provides technical expertise on troubleshooting, repairs, and process optimization.
