The Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is nationally recognized and registered with the United States Department of Labor. This a two-year, 4,000-hour minimum program will provide in-depth training, both on the job and in classroom, to gain experience of a qualified Equipment Operator across divisions. Apprentices will be assigned to a seasoned professional as a mentor for the duration of the program. Upon successful completion, participants will receive national certification. The Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is nationally recognized and registered with the United States Department of Labor. This a two-year, 4,000-hour minimum program will provide in-depth training, both on the job and in classroom, to gain experience of a qualified Equipment Operator across divisions. The Forestry Aide is a higher-level maintenance crewmember than the standard crewmember (Maintenance Aide).
