Job Summary The Academic Advisor, under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Academic Advising, will provide academic advising services to support engineering students towards successful degree completion. Provide General Education advising to all engineering majors. Participate in outreach and recruitment activities. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Proficiency in computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Strong critical and creative thinking skills, sound decision making and objectivity. Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and ability to be a team player. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, prioritizes responsibilities, and meets project deadlines. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, on occasion.
