Duties include, but are not limited to: • Use various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other design software to create and prepare event materials, various publications, brochures, forms, reports, correspondence, narratives, proposals, and calendars; maintain and update website content. • Basic knowledge of html/css; compile content from staff for office social media posts and monthly e-newsletter. • Create, design, and distribute the monthly newsletter on Constant Contact • Develop and implement a Marketing Plan for the Center to promote adult, teen, youth, and early childhood classes, camps, gallery, and other events. • Maintain, post, and build all the social media accounts and be active and engage on social media: Responding to inquiries via messages and comments. • Actively work to grow the followers on all relevant accounts. Work with Facility Administrator to develop marketing materials and obtain quotes from, and work with a printer on production of publications. • Provide content and images for the Annual Report. • Maintain email campaigns and update contacts. • Set goals to meet objectives • Maintain an inventory of office and building supplies. • Maintain organization and inventory of photos, graphics, and misc. on the Shared OneDrive. • Assist instructors when needed. • Work on implementing all projects with a timely execution • Be responsible for creating creative posts, stories, reels, and videos for social media and YouTube. • Organize the Highlights on social media • Photograph classes and events • Assist with event coordination, periodically leading some event planning efforts Office/Center Duties: • Help with registration and data entry of students into ActiveNet. • Print rosters for instructors at the beginning of a class session and as needed. • Proactively set up studios for classes: break-down/set-up tables and chairs, repaper tables, and fill paper towel dispensers. • Help with basic maintenance and repair in the studios. Report any repairs to the Facility Administrator for work orders. • Check and maintain voicemails every morning. • Check and maintain the general Chastain e-mail box. • Utilize Click-Up for organization, promotions planning, and communication among staff. Gallery Duties: • Assist the gallery curator with necessary tasks for exhibitions. • Assist with gallery exhibitions and special events including, but not limited to, the intake of artwork, relocation of artwork in the building & gallery, loan agreement paperwork, pedestal relocation. • Assist during the receptions, artist talks, and misc. events. • Assist in taking payments for gallery purchases and purchases from The Shop. • Be responsible for taking photos and video footage for marketing needs and posting on social media feeds and stories during events. • Ensure all images are organized in the Shared Drive for easy access and retrieval • Install signage, banners, balloons, etc. for gallery and events. Customer Service: • Positive and welcoming demeanor with all who enter the building • Assist students with questions about classes and registration. • Answer phone calls. • Help students needing assistance to and from their vehicles for our older demographic. • Assist students/instructors with the copy machine, Wi-Fi, printing needs, and misc requests. BS/BA from an accredited college or university in the arts, design, planning, arts administration, public/business administration, or closely related field. 2+ years’ experience in social media content creation, analytics, and graphic design experience. Experience in promotions, event management, project management, or related field is a plus.
