Essential Job Functions The Fire Prevention Specialist I-II is responsible for providing a variety of technical and professional work in support of the Fire Prevention Division within the Fire Department. Depending on assignment, work includes code enforcement and outreach activities promoting the preservation of life and property, including field inspection, plans examination, data research and analysis, community preparedness and education programs and activities. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED : Receives supervision from the Fire Marshal.
