Temporary Part Time Instructor Albemarle County Fire Rescue Temporary Part Time Non-Exempt, Non VRS-Eligible, Non-Benefits-Eligible Temporary Part Time Instructor The Albemarle County Fire Rescue System's Training Division is looking for temporary part-time Instructors to assist in teaching various certification programs for our fire rescue system Under the direction of the Division Chief of Training, performs duties that include the completion of essential elements of course delivery, provides accurate and up-to-date learning objectives, and maintains various required training records, training aids, and equipment; does related work as required. The instructor is responsible for providing professional quality work conducting and teaching courses within the prescribed curriculum of study. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist with overseeing the safe and effective use of the training center facilities during course delivery and all other related duties; Ensures compliance with all national standards required for training center equipment to include maintenance of props and equipment; Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, visual aids, and sets up audiovisual equipment; Maintains detailed training program records and files for courses; Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; Performs related tasks as required.
