GENERAL PURPOSE: Performs the duties of an Equipment Operator for the Storm Water/Maintenance Division in the Public Works Department. Work hours are 10 hours per day four days per week, Monday through Thursday. This position is a part year, 10 month max working 40 hours per week with Medical coverage option only. GENERAL PURPOSE: Performs the duties of an Equipment Operator for the Storm Water/Maintenance Division in the Public Works Department. Work hours are 10 hours per day four days per week, Monday through Thursday. This position is a part year, 10 month max working 40 hours per week with Medical coverage option only. Examples of Duties Operates heavy equipment and drives trucks involved in the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges such as bulldozers, compactors, front end loaders, graders, farm tractors, track backhoes, and tractor trailers.
