The City of Loveland is offering a paid internship for an Electrical Engineering student interested in electrical power engineering to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the Summer 2024 and then part-time, (between 15-20 hours per week), during the Fall 2024 semester. The student must be currently enrolled in school full-time, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. The pay range for this position is $16.68 to $22.52 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This opportunity will be available until April 30, 2024 at 12:00pm MST. Assist with development of utility standards. Assist with fuse coordination. Assist with failure analysis. Assist in maintaining the distribution system model using modeling software. Perform basic engineering calculations, project specifications, reports and related project schedules. Other Job Functions Gathers, correlates, and analyzes specific data using established procedures. Performs detailed engineering assignments involving established calculations, tests and analysis.
