Incumbent selects, trains and evaluates the performance of assigned staff; reads and interprets a variety of utility plans, blueprints, engineered drawings and written specifications and ensures adherence to policies, procedures, rules, regulations, work methods and safety practices. In addition, incumbent will respond to questions and complaints from the public and /or other agencies regarding wastewater system issues; evaluates situations, develop solutions, and notifies appropriate officials and City staff. Preferred experience includes extensive knowledge in the maintenance, service, and repair of data network systems, data security and monitoring, Human to Machine Interface (HMI) systems, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems as they pertain to wastewater treatment administration, process, equipment, and State Waste Discharge requirements (WDR) permitting.
