ACCT 416 - Auditing

The Department of Accounting at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2020 to teach Accounting 416, Auditing. The course starts on September 1, 2020, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00pm -8:50ap. The entire fall 2020 semester the Department of Accounting is delivery classes synchronously using Zoom video conference software, but applicant should expect in-person classes on campus to resume when circumstances permit in 2021.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current U.S. CPA License
Masters in Accounting or Taxation, Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting from a regionally accredited university.
Extensive work experience in the area of auditing.
Experience and competency using video conferencing software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching at a four year university and/or community college.
Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching (this language must be included in the preferred qualifications).
