About the Opportunity ABOUT THE POSITION The current vacancy is for the Modesto Library Children’s and Teen Librarian position. This position may be responsible for supervising Library Assistant staff. The Librarian I can be distinguished from the higher classification of Librarian II by the fact that the Librarian I is an entry-level position. Incumbents will perform the more routine Librarian functions and will work under direct supervision. The Librarian II is the journey-level classification in the series.
