AHA is opening a recruitment for a Housing Specialist III position in the Housing Programs Department. This is the advanced journey level class in the Housing Specialist series, responsible for performing a variety of complex work related to the Housing Authority’s provision of housing assistance, including day-to-day coordination and quality control of functions such as eligibility, inspections, new leases, reexaminations, and terminations. This position also performs some software troubleshooting, produces a variety of department data, creates reports, conducts bimonthly verification of Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) to landlords, and provides occasional supervision of other department staff.
This position will be offered on a 72 hours per pay period schedule (9 8-hour work days with every other Friday off).
