Salary: $76,170 - $115,091 per yr
Licensed Psychologists provide psychological testing, evaluation, psychotherapy, counseling, and consultation to clients or inmates in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings, at a mental health, intellectual disabilities, or correctional facility, or in other settings where psychological services are provided. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. The Licensed Psychologist 1 position is located with Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS) in Sparks, Nevada. The position will work closely with intensive Outpatient Services with consumers in the community. The position will conduct assessments and individualized counseling with Consumers in Community Based Living Arrangements (CBLA) housing. The psychologist's duties will include individual and group therapy, consultation, psychological assessments, and behavior support planning. The psychologist will appreciate the intersecting differences of an increasingly diverse patient population and will demonstrate a culturally competent readiness to meet their needs.
