Job Description

Full-time position available with the Health Department, CEPA Division located at 2400 Troost
Salary Range: $4,230-$7,534/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday. 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

As a condition of employment with the City of KCMO Health Department, all new employees will be required to submit or provide documentation of receiving an influenza (Flu) Vaccination.


Responsibilities

Plans and implements quality management activities for the Kansas City (MO) Health Department, including projects and initiatives related to the Kansas City Community Health Improvement Plan (KC-CHIP). Ensures coordination of departmental quality activities with City-wide quality management. Exercises considerable initiative and broad independent judgment. Work accomplishments are evaluated by the Deputy Director through supervisory meetings, written reports, performance reports and results achieved.


Qualifications

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree in public health, biological sciences or related field including 15 hours in statistics, mathematics, or epidemiology and 3 years of relevant statistical experience; OR an accredited Master's degree in statistics or related field and one year of related experience.
