The 19th Judicial Circuit Court is seeking a Mental Health Clinician, to plan and implement treatment plans with adults on probation.

Position: Mental Health Court Clinician

Location: Waukegan, Illinois, United States

Salary: $45,235 Annually

Job Summary: The Mental Health Court Clinician is responsible for evaluating and assessing clients. The incumbent plans and implements a treatment plan with clients on assigned caseload. Conducts individual, group, and family counseling, case management, outreach, education, monitoring, referral, linkage, follow-ups and documentation .

In order to be successful in this role you should have a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in behavioral sciences or related field and three years of experience, OR a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field and one year of experience . The individual, within one year of the hire date must have one of the following: certification of an Alcohol/Drug Abuse Counselor by the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Board (I.A.O.D.A.P.C.A.) or have equivalent certification by a similar state or national board; OR licensed by the State of Illinois as a Physician, Psychologist, Licensed Social Worker (L.S.W.), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.), Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (L.C.P.C.). A candidate in this position must possess strong communication skills, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to work as a team member.
