Salary: $33,972 - $49,152 per yr
Positions allocated in the Predatory Animal and Rodent Control (PARC) program utilize wildlife management and control techniques such as surveying, trapping and/or eradicating predators and nuisance animals in order to protect livestock, game and the economic interests of ranchers, woolgrowers and homeowners. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is located in Eureka, NV with the Predatory Animal and Rodent Control (PARC) program, Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) Animal Industry Division. The incumbent uses wildlife management and control techniques to eradicate predatory animals, property destroying birds, and nuisance animals. Please ensure your application reflects at least one year of full time equivalent (FTE) experience in predatory animal and rodent control including tracking, locating and identifying predators or rodent species; setting traps and lures; applying pesticides; and destroying predators and pests.
