Agricultural Enforcement Officers are field agents and inspectors (peace officers) of the Department of Agriculture, and as such, enforce all State agricultural laws and regulations. Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action. The Department of Agriculture, Animal Industry Division, Enforcement Unit is recruiting for an Agricultural Enforcement Officer 3 in Sparks. Under the direction of the Division Administrator, this sworn peace officer position oversees all Brand Inspectors, Agricultural Enforcement Officer positions, enforcement activities, and officer required training throughout the State of Nevada.
