As a Fleet Service Advisor at Denver International Airport you will have the opportunity to join our Fleet Maintenance team. You will be the face of Fleet, enthusiastically providing Fleet customers with exceptional customer service. You will interview and verify customer concerns, create work orders and determine incoming work priority. As a Fleet Service Advisor, you will be called upon to communicate effectively with all customers, relaying information which provides our customers with updates and Fleet unit progress.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to perform the following:

  • By position, works as a customer service liaison performing vehicle intake and monitoring and updating repair progress to the customer.
  • Work order quality control, assuring correct structure and complete information is recorded.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, records, and reports using multiple software tools utilized by Fleet.
  • Prepare work orders for vehicle accident damage, documenting needed repairs.
  • Research and record Technical Service Bulletins [TSB] and manufacturer recalls.
  • Intaking scheduled units for Preventative Maintenance [PM].
  • Record and prioritize field service calls.
  • Dispatch requested unit towing.
  • Provide technical information and materials to technicians.
  • You may be called upon to perform Colorado state emissions testing (Enhanced and Opacity).
  • Perform minor repairs as time allows, e.g. wiper blades, light bulbs, etc.
  • By position, participate in required snow duties.
  • As a Fleet Technician III you may be reassigned to work in the shop as dictated by section demand.
  • Observe all common shop safety standards.
  • Other duties as requested by Fleet management to support section duties.


About You

Our Ideal Candidate will have:
  • 5-7 years' experience in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of gasoline, diesel, or alternate fuel powered equipment, including electronic systems, hydraulic systems, transmission and combustion engine overhaul.
  • Previous Service Advisor or Customer Service experience

  • Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
  • Experience: Four years of experience in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of gasoline, diesel, or alternate fuel powered equipment, including electronic systems, hydraulic systems, transmission and combustion engine overhaul.
  • Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
  • Licensure/Certification: By position, requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. By position, possession of a Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL "A") with appropriate endorsements by the end of probation. By position, possession of a Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements by the end of probation. By position, requires certifications in Airbrake and/or Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling as mandated by federal regulations by the end of probation. By position, requires Colorado Refrigerant Registration and a Colorado State Emission inspection license by the end of probation. By position, requires Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning as certified under section 609 of the Clean Air Act by an EPAapproved program by the end of probation. By position, requires Underground Storage Tank Class A, B, or C Operator Certification. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.


FBI Background Check: FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.

Snow / Emergency Duties: Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees can be required to work extended hours and/or shifts.
