SUMMARY OF POSITION Under the direction of the Senior Engineer II - Drainage, performs or assists with managing tasks associated with drainage, including but not limited to: investigation of drainage complaints and concerns from residents, engineers, property owners, and consultants; reviewing drainage related civil engineering plans; assisting with, or performing the management of drainage related capital improvement projects; review and redevelopment of drainage policies and ordinances; and performing other tasks relating to drainage, stormwater, hydrology, and hydraulics, and other duties as assigned. Utilizes a variety of technological equipment and software applications in the performance of functions such as computers, technical software, plotters, and survey equipment.
