ABOUT THE POSITION The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Airport Manager - Public Affairs and Marketing position. This position is located in one of the largest airports in the country - Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) located in Las Vegas, NV. As part of the management team, this position will be integral in strategically elevating branding and presence for LAS both in the community we serve, and nationwide. As LAS continues to grow and evolve, this position will be part of the team leading and coordinating all communication materials for the Department of Aviation, including but not limited to media relations, social media content creation and reporting, and e-marketing. Additionally, this position is responsible for planning and directing the strategic, innovative, and long-range goals and the operations for the Public Affairs and Marketing division. This position supervises and manages professional, technical and support staff, and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. ABOUT THE POSITION The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Airport Manager - Public Affairs and Marketing position. This position is located in one of the largest airports in the country - Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) located in Las Vegas, NV. As part of the management team, this position will be integral in strategically elevating branding and presence for LAS both in the community we serve, and nationwide. As LAS continues to grow and evolve, this position will be part of the team leading and coordinating all communication materials for the Department of Aviation, including but not limited to media relations, social media content creation and reporting, and e-marketing. Additionally, this position is responsible for planning and directing the strategic, innovative, and long-range goals and the operations for the Public Affairs and Marketing division. This position supervises and manages professional, technical and support staff, and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Public Administration or a field related to the programmatic area, and five years of full-time related supervisory level experience in an airport or a setting related to the assigned work area. An equivalent combination of education and closely related management experience may be considered. An advanced degree is preferred.
