Essential Job Functions
An OT Supervisor I directs and oversees the performance of thosesupervised. Supervises ongoing unit operations e.g., directing conferences, monthly and semi-annual statistical, revolving fund; operational systems to accomplish those tasks necessary to run a therapy unit, including, but not limited to, systems for: keeping track of caseload, assigning patients, filing forms and records, keeping track of employee time, and scheduling return clinic visits. Supervises case management e.g., activities and procedures to support patient care and their documentations, and supervises individual patient services and their documentation as it relates to patient treatment, consultation, therapy running notes, and therapy summaries.
Requirements MUST CURRENTLY BE A PERMANENT LOS ANGELES COUNTY EMPLOYEE WHO HOLDS THE PAYROLL TITLE OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SUPERVISOR. License:
- A License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy as an OT.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff and diverse agencies.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
