PREVIOUS AIRLINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!DEPARTMENT: Newark, NJ (EWR)REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS NEEDED:Minimum 12 months airline experience preferredRamp & Bagroom experience preferredProficient knowledge of airline product systems and proceduresKnowledge of airline computer systemsAbility to perform under pressureAbility to work in teams and lead ramp teamAble to travel for trainingSPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:Coordinate Weight and Balance documentation with Load ControlMaintain daily trip files and station traffic reportsSupervise ramp functionsConduct operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to departureCoordinate all operational activities during irregularitiesHandle all phases of aircraft handling: catering, cleaning, fueling, boarding/de-boardingManage loading/unloading and cargo/baggage securityCoordinate passenger boarding and de-boarding processesEnsure proper handling of BagscanProvide daily performance reports to the managerControl Left Behind Baggage Index (LBI)Implement new procedures and process improvementsHandle irregularities considering customer, economic, and legal factorsReport flight handling irregularitiesEnsure compliance with Safety, Security, and Legal regulationsPerform checks under station operations surveillanceREQUIRED SKILLS:Previous customer service experienceAt least 18 years old, High School Diploma or G.E.D.Proficient in English; other languages may be requiredKnowledge and experience in terminal and airport operations preferredRetail and/or hospitality work experience requiredAble to stand for 3-4 hours at a timeAbility to read and comprehend instructions, policies, and proceduresValid US work authorizationProfessional demeanor and presentationFlexible schedule and availabilityBackground check and fingerprinting requiredDrug screening prior to hireJOB DETAILS:Location: Newark, New Jersey, United StatesPosition Type: Full-Time/RegularTRAINING: Selected candidates will attend and complete paid mandatory training.SHIFT: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, GraveyardSCHEDULE: To be discussed at interviewSALARY/BENEFITS: $19.75/Hour + $4.60/hr with Medical Benefits, voluntary Dental, Vision, and 401K#J-18808-Ljbffr
