    DescriptionAmerican Airlines is seeking Flight Attendants who can provide consistent in‑flight service, handle various situations, work independently, ensure customer safety and comfort, provide leadership in emergency and non‑emergency situations, work in various climates and locations, meet high standards of dependability, adhere to company policies and procedures, and adapt to alternative work schedules. The role requires adapting to the flight attendant lifestyle, ensuring flights are on time, and adhering to company policies, procedures, and attendance standards. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt to the airline's unique needs.Applicants must attend a 6-1/2 week training class in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, without compensation. After completing the class, they must be prepared to relocate to any of the following base locations, including BOS, CLT, DCA, DFW, JFK/LGA, LAX, MIA, ORD, PHL, and PHX. The training class is not compensated.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must be at least 20 years old, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and be able to safely operate aircraft. Must pass a DOT pre‑employment drug test, a TSA fingerprint‑based criminal history records check, and a background check. A valid U.S. or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs is required. The candidate must have the legal right to work in the United States and travel unrestricted to and from all states and countries served by American Airlines. Must be willing to relocate based on operational needs, work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed, be on call for reserve duty, and professionally represent the American Airlines brand while in the Flight Attendant uniform. Successful candidates must be able to attend up to 6‑1/2 weeks of unpaid training in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and if employed, move immediately to their assigned city.#J-18808-Ljbffr
