This role involves:Lead and manage the design and evaluation of fire protection systemsLead the design, specification, and multi-discipline coordination of the following fire protection systems: Fire alarm, smoke management, wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, deluge, and foam/water fire suppression systemDevelop fire protection engineering concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local and national codes and standardsQuality review the fire alarm and fire protection calculationsWorking as a team on projects and managing employeesRequirements:Licensed Professional EngineerMinimum 7+ year of progressive experience in the Fire Life Safety/Fire Protection fieldFire Protection Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited programStrong working knowledge of applicable ICC and NFPA codes is requiredKnowledgeable in building codes, fire codes, NFPA standards, and military standardsAbility to organize and handle multiple project assignmentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge in AutoCAD or RevitCompany paid Medical, Short & Long-term disability insuranceEmployee paid Dental & Vision coverageLife Insurance401K w/ company matchEligible for quarterly bonus after six months employmentList of Supporting Documents:ResumeSample of technical work or writing3 Work ReferencesAwards:2018, 2019, & 2020 Kansas City Business Journal Best Places to Work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
