Summary
A Wildfire Preparedness Technician supports the following duties: - Work with the Community Preparedness & Wildfire Prevention Program to disseminate outreach and educational materials that inform Montanas citizens on how they can better prepare for wildfire. - Keep MT - Fire. Info.org up to date with the most current wildfire restrictions and fire weather information. - Perform a variety of other program support, project management, and related duties as assigned by supervisors in support of the DNRCs Forestry Division mission and objectives. SPECIAL INFORMATION:Housing is not available at this location. The seasonal positions will remain open and additional screening will occur as needed until positions are filled. Applicants for these positions must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire and have a valid drivers license and less than 12 conviction points over the most recent 36 months.
