    OverviewLMI is seeking a Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Subject Matter Expert interested in joining a team who will provide Strategic Plans and Policy Support Services (SPPSS) support to Headquarters, Department of Air Force (DAF) A10 office in counterproliferation and CWMD mission areas. A successful candidate demonstrates competency in working with the US Air Force headquarter-level senior leaders and staff, attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communications and coordination skills.This position requires active Top Secret with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information. This is an Onsite position at Client's location in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC.The growing threat of WMD, specifically chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) weapons, poses one of the most serious challenges facing Department of the Air Force (DAF) (i.e., Headquarters USAF and US Space Force) core mission operations. As part of the Service's responsibility to provide CBRN and CWMD-ready Airmen and Mission- Critical systems (i.e. aircraft, spacecraft) for Combatant Command Air Component forces, the DAF is tasked to fully develop and institutionalize required CWMD capabilities, thus enabling the success of air, space and cyber operational missions in the 21st century battlespace.LMI offers a generous compensation package with excellent benefits that start the first day of employment. Flex time, and tuition reimbursement are a few of our many work-life benefits available to our employees.ResponsibilitiesProvides comprehensive analytical, operatoinal, and policy support for the Department of Air Force (DAF) CWMD and Biodefense enterprises.Supports in developing and institutionalizing DOTMLPF-P solutions that enable mission sucess in a CBRN-contested environment.Assists in codifying strategy, analyzing threats, defining requirements and preparing materials for DAF representation in key national and international forums.Leads a team that provides CWMD Policy Support; CWMD Enterprise Governance Support; CWMD Strategy, Plans, Policy, Operations, Doctrine, and CONOPS support; CWMD Technical Analysis support; and CWMD and BioDefense Air Force and Joint Education and Interaction improvement support; CWMD support to MAJCOMs and Other Agencies; and CBRN Technical Analysis support to US Air Force Europe and Air Force Africa.QualificationsMaster's degree in STEMAt least 10 years of experience in working in DoW CBRN defense and/or counterproliferation programs.Active Top Secret / SCIExcellent oral and written communications skillsExperience in working at Department of Air Force headquarters level is highly preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
