Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring immediately for a Program Analyst to serve as the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Government Furnished Items (GFI) Task Lead supporting Strategic Systems Programs Ship Integration Branch (SP26). Pay Transparency Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000Responsibilities The CMC GFI Task Lead will play a key role in the success of the COLUMBIA and Dreadnought submarine construction programs by helping to coordinate the flow of information between Strategic Systems Programs, the COLUMBIA Program Office (PMS 397), and the U.S. and UK shipyards. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to:Ensure timely deliveries of SSP documentation and equipment to the shipyards.Maintain databases supporting SSP documentation and equipment deliveries to the shipyards.Draft memos for information exchange between relevant program offices and shipyards.Create knowledge products (dashboards; briefing materials; etc.) and lead weekly meetings to ensure stakeholder alignment within the CMC community.Periodic travel (approximately once per quarter) to the U.S. Shipyard in Groton, CT will be required as part of this role.This role is on-site within the Ship Integration Branch (SP26) at Strategic Systems Programs Headquarters on the Washington Navy Yard.Qualifications Required Qualifications:Ability to work in Washington D.C (Washington Navy Yard - 5 days/week) and travel to CONUS locations ~4 times a year.Bachelor's degree.Active DoD SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET strongly preferred).3-5 years of experience working in a Department of War program office environment with an acquisitionor shipbuilding focus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project).Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include familiarity with naval correspondence standards and the ability to synthesize and clearlycommunicate technical information.Comfortable operating with minimal oversight and interacting with senior leaders across a range of stakeholders.Desired Qualifications:Prior experience working with SSP and/or NAVSEA.#J-18808-Ljbffr
