The Analyst will work directly with his/her Manager and the EIS team to produce analysis addressing client-specific requirements.NOTE: The position reports to the client's headquarters in Ashburn, VA, three days per week. The analyst's weekly schedule will be Sunday through Thursday, 10am-6pm ET.What You Will Work OnIn coordination with Crisis24 EIS Managers, and in accordance with appropriate guidance:Gather, assess, and disseminate analysis on the nature of global security threats, the likelihood that they will affect the client's travelers, assets, and operations, and what the likely effects areActively monitor open-source media, third-party subscription services, and other sources in real-time for issues that could affect business operations and personnelOpen source intelligence collection and analysis of regional trends and events to provide timely, comprehensive, customized intelligence products to decision-makersUsing the intelligence cycle, research, assess, and support the production of written intelligence products that meet client requirements as well as EIS analytic standards, including but not limited to: Travel Threat Assessments, Location Threat Assessments (Neighborhood-, City-, or Country-level), Site Threat Assessments, Event Threat Assessments, Requests for Intelligence, Daily Incident Assessments or Intelligence Products, Threat Forecasting, Scenario Forecasting, Social Media Monitoring, Online Exposure AssessmentsProduce written and oral assessments that are succinct and include beneficial analysisLiaise with the client to better understand their requirements and concernsUnderstand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needsSupport daily intelligence products for wide distribution, ensuring the reporting is timely, accurate, actionable, and in accordance with reporting criteriaDeliver oral and written threat briefings to members of the Client's security team or business leadership teamsWork with security team members effectively and efficientlySuggest to manager potential improvements to the programManage client expectations by understanding the EIS team's product offerings and limitationsTrack and report metrics around production and deliverablesEngage in cross-project analysis, including consistent sharing of information between analysts, participating in webinars or other external-facing group projects, and red-teaming peer analysts' workBe consistently engaged on a daily basis with teammatesConceptualize, develop, and propose to management business or intelligence initiatives to support departmental growthLeverage the broader Crisis24 Intelligence Team to enhance analystic depth and efficiencyWhat You Will BringEducation, Experience, and Requirements2-4 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, security operations, or a related field requiredBachelor's degree required, focus on relevant field preferred; Master's degree preferredSkillsExcellent research skillsExceptional analytic writing skills, including familiarity with analytic techniquesExcellent verbal briefing skillsEffective problem-solving skillsFast learner and ability to multitaskAbility to organize and prioritize work with little supervisionFamiliarity or experience with OSINT, SOCINT, threat intelligence tools, and case management systemsExperience conducting comprehensive open-source investigationsEvaluate the credibility and severity of identified threats to executives and at-risk personnel during POI investigationsConduct vulnerability assessments on executives and high-visibility employees, and develop risk mitigation strategiesEstablishing and maintaining positive professional rapport with other analysts and subject matter experts (SMEs), as well as client contactsForeign language and travel experience preferredCustomer service experience preferredExperience overseeing other analysts' work a plusExperience leading projects with several other analystsWork ConditionsExtensive periods of sittingNoteFlexible hours and workdays are required to meet Crisis24 core 24/7 mission.As a condition of employment, candidates will be asked to pass a background check and writing and technology aptitude screenings.EEO/AA Employer/Vets/DisabilityInformation SecurityProtect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Crisis24, A GardaWorld Company is dedicated to equal opportunity in employment.
