Job Summary This position is responsible for providing technical support to producers in the care and management of company poultry. The role ensures efficient, cost‑effective production of high‑quality flocks while maintaining compliance with USDA and government regulations.Responsibilities Advise on building and equipment specifications, litter management, and farm sanitation.Conduct farm visits, document bird welfare, and manage flock performance.Adjust equipment settings as needed.Direct feed and lighting schedules and monitor bird health, egg production, body weight, and overall condition.Implement corrective actions when necessary.Track feed consumption and collect blood and fat samples as required.Coordinate bird placements, assist with catch schedules, and maintain effective communication with the hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live‑haul teams.Ensure compliance with production contracts and applicable regulations.Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum of 1 year of related experience.Basic proficiency in computer skills.Occasional travel (1–5 trips per year).Prior poultry experience is highly advantageous.Work shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America).Background checks required for certain roles.Benefits Paid time off.401(k) plan.Affordable health, life, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits.Equal Opportunity Employer Tyson Foods, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
