This effort ensures proper administration of the Child Care & Development Fund (CCDF) and helps identify and reduce improper payments within the program.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Monthly Case File Reviews:Review 23 CCA case files per month (preferred), following the federally prescribed selection protocol.Examine initial and redetermination eligibility actions to verify subsidy payment correctness.Assess eligibility determinations and subsidy authorizations for accuracy and compliance with policy.Document all findings on the federally approved review forms.Ensure Inter-Reviewer Reliability:Participate in DSS-led re-review processes to validate findings and align with policy standards.Address discrepancies found during secondary reviews performed by DSS.A designated Lead Reviewer will re-review 2 files per month to meet federal inter-reviewer reliability standards.Collaborate with DSS and Federal Contacts:Attend scheduled meetings with DSS to discuss case files and receive policy clarifications.Participate in technical assistance calls with federal agencies, as needed.Maintain Timely Compliance:Support completion of all 276 case file reviews by the federal deadline of January 31, 2027 .Adhere to monthly workflow targets unless an alternate review schedule is approved by DSS.Required QualificationsExperience in case file review, quality control, auditing, or eligibility determination within social services or similar programs.Knowledge of child care subsidy programs or similar federal/state benefit programs preferred.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Familiarity with federal compliance protocols, especially related to IPIA or CCDF, is a plus.Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality of case information.Work ConditionsMay be remote or on-site depending on Department requirements.Monthly workload cycles with potential flexibility based on alternate proposals.Participation in regular team meetings and periodic calls with federal oversight bodies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
