    Job Overview SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on‑the‑job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full‑time civilian work. NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a team of buyers, subcontracts management specialists, and category leads to define, develop and improve the supply base and ensure its support to SNC programs. Your responsibilities include establishing priorities to maintain production schedules, coordinating with executive management, program management and other department managers, and ensuring the company's material, planning and production objectives are achieved. You will prepare capital, contract equipment and facility requests, lead supply chain innovation and efficiency across the Business Area, partner with departments to support SNC's vision, and act as a supply‑chain liaison within the business by collaborating with Operations, planning and logistics groups. You will drive innovation by maximizing the capabilities of current procurement management systems, seek new advancements in technology and process, and lead the discovery, implementation and deployment of complex supply‑chain projects. You will also set, measure and communicate supply‑chain KPIs across the organization and provide leadership to direct reports, including responsibility for departmental performance.Responsibilities Lead a team of buyers, subcontracts specialists, and category leads.Define, develop, and improve the supply base to support SNC programs.Establish priorities to maintain production schedules and meet program milestones.Coordinate with executive management, program management and other department managers.Prepare capital, contract equipment and facility requests.Drive supply chain innovation and efficiency throughout the Business Area.Collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Logistics groups as a supply‑chain liaison.Maximize the capabilities of procurement management systems and pursue new technology and process advancements.Lead the discovery, implementation and deployment of complex supply‑chain projects.Set, measure, and communicate supply‑chain KPIs across the organization.Provide leadership to direct reports and manage departmental performance.Qualifications You Must Have:Currently serving on active duty and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.6+ years of progressive supply‑chain experience, including 0‑2+ years of management experience.Proficient negotiation skills.Supply‑chain management skills.Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.We Prefer:Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.Candidate with both development and production experience skills.In‑depth working knowledge of commodity, category, and sourcing management.Background in manufacturing timelines and requirements.Ability to read and understand technical requirements.Experience supporting government contracts, with knowledge of FAR and DFARS compliance.Salary and Benefits Estimated starting salary range: $98,633.53 – $135,621.11.
