    Department: Paragon Fleet MaintenanceTHE OPPORTUNITIES We are continuously in search of the brightest and best from Technical School Programs across the nation to establish working relationships until they complete graduation from their respective Technical School. As a Technical School Student Program candidate, please view the following apprentice opportunities and inquire with your recruiter for those still in Technical School:Lube Technician – Performs oil, engine coolant, transmission fluid changes on all tractors, filter changes and greases all suspension and steering components as necessary.Safety Inspectors – Conducts initial inspections of all tractor and trailer units as they enter the yard and all final inspections before they leave.Tire Technician – Removes and replaces all tires on tractors and trailers.In‑Service Technician – Installs cameras and communications systems in new unassigned trucks.Parts Specialist – Supports our technicians by checking out parts needed for service jobs while maintaining inventory accuracy and doing weekly inventory counts.Those who enter the program prior to graduation will have the inside track to our Technical Program career paths for the following roles within Paragon Leasing: Automotive & Diesel Tech Programs, Fleet Maintenance Programs, Automotive & Truck Collision Repair.Get a HeadStart for your career in a large, well‑established operation where you can learn & grow while developing into an experienced Technician. Our Fleet is always the newest trucks and trailers on the road.QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: Basic computer skills, valid driver's license, ability to work all scheduled days and shifts as needed, a pre‑employment physical and drug screening, ability to provide great customer service for our drivers, ability to track and coordinate movement of inventory through multiple Microsoft Applications, ability to work with heavy equipment and tools, ability to work independently.Preferred Qualifications: Ability to effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English, high school diploma, experience working in a fast‑paced environment.SKILLS AND ABILITIES Technical school enrollment; reliable transportation; punctuality; strong work ethic; attention to detail; career growth driven.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces.Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements.Using hands to handle, control or feel; climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms; lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.Work Experience: Currently attending Technical School.
