    Torch is seeking a Mission Systems/ avigation SME Engineer to provide expert-level support in military aircraft avionics integration, navigation systems, mission planning software, and navigation database qualification. This role supports key Army aviation programs and other government agencies, offering both technical expertise and corporate guidance on aviation contracts, program strategy, and business development.**As a Mission Systems/Navigation SME Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:**Contribute to mission or flight management system architecture, requirements, and development activities. Develop and/or review Navigation Database Qualification (NDQ) and Data Quality Requirements (DQR). Conduct system-level analysis, testing, and validation of navigation and mission systems. Coordinate with engineering teams, program leadership, and customers to address technical issues and ensure compliance with program requirements. **Qualifications** Master's degree in Engineering or a related field; 12 + years of experience in mission systems, navigation systems, or avionics engineering. ORBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; 15+ years of experience in mission systems, navigation systems, or avionics engineering.Hands-on experience with military aircraft navigation systems, including: Knowledge of Performance Based Navigation (PBN) standards (GATM, CNS/ATM, RNP RNAV, RNP-.3/1/5, P-RNAV/B-RNAV). Experience with mission or flight management system development. Familiarity with Army mission planning software applications and workflows.
