    This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission‑critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better‑informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced SME Cross Domain Implementation Engineer Lead to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production‑ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.This position offers the opportunity to work on a high‑visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Ideal candidates are motivated by mission impact, comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments, and interested in building deep domain expertise while delivering capabilities with real‑world national security outcomes.Primary Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain cross domain technology solutions for secure data transfers between NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.Ensure data integrity and compliance with system security standards.Integrate cross domain solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.Lead a team of technical experts, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance team performance.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with DoD RMF.Develop and maintain documentation for cross domain solutions and processes.Monitor and evaluate system performance, making recommendations for improvements.Facilitate training sessions for team members and stakeholders on cross domain technologies.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cross domain solutions and cybersecurity.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cross domain systems.Basic Qualifications Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited college or university OR offerings listed in DoD 8140 Training Repository OR GCFA or GCIA.Minimum of 5 years of experience in cross domain technology solutions.Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing projects.Strong understanding of DoD RMF and cybersecurity compliance requirements.Experience with secure data transfer protocols and technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Certifications such as Security plus, IAT/IAM Level III.Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.Experience with cloud‑based cross domain solutions.Familiarity with NIST 800‑53 and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.Knowledge of emerging technologies in data security and transfer.Previous experience in a government or defense contracting environment.Commitment to Non‑Discrimination All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, ethnicity, age, national origin, citizenship, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, family structure, marital status, ancestry, domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
