Our unwavering dedication to excellence and industry best practices is bolstered by cutting‑edge technological innovation, enhancing the experience for both our clients and our exceptional staff.This is an in office hybrid role from our San Francisco location, candidates will need to be able to work in the San Francisco office a minimum of 3 days per week.How will you make a difference as an Associate at Fragomen?Develop an expert-level understanding of your client base and the industries you support as well as the firm's practice areas and services provided.Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.Work with client global mobility personnel to prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies for non-immigrant and immigrant foreign national employees.Draft and prepare letters and legal documents, typically based on established precedents.Conduct research to support client requests and projects.Supervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation.Demonstrate a willingness to learn and effectively implement guidance and direction offered by supervisors and experienced colleagues.Proactively communicate with clients, within SLAs/team protocols and with a precise, efficient, thoughtful, and organized response.Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects.Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.Use firm technology accurately and in line with team and client protocols, ensuring accurate and complete data is entered.Actively contribute to team meetings and firmwide activities.Act as a source of advice and training to more junior colleagues, proactively sharing immigration knowledge and expertise.Ensure self and team follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance.Other duties as required.Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:U.S. JD or LLM requiredMember of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association0-2 years of experience at Associate levelAn academic understanding of immigration lawExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI enginesDedication to exceptional client serviceDemonstrated attention to detailStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with competing demandsAbility to contribute to a positive work environmentBenefits:At Fragomen, we know that great people make a great organization.
